About

Reputation monitoring with a paralegal/lawyer's eye.

Your reputation is being written in search results you never see. A new review, a forum thread, an old article climbing back up page one. By the time most owners notice, a prospect already has. Reputation Radar exists to close that gap: we watch, we read, and we tell you first.

Why we built it

Monitoring tools are everywhere, and almost all of them do the same thing: email you a pile of links and let you sort out what matters. That's not monitoring; that's homework. We wanted a service that does the reading for you: every new result rated for tone and seriousness, with a one-line verdict in plain English, and a same-day heads-up when something negative breaks onto page one.

The founder's story

Reputation Radar was founded by Frank Alfano. In his words:

"I spent 33 years as a paralegal in Ontario courtrooms. Along the way I earned an LL.B. with honours from the University of London and an LL.M. with honours from Osgoode Hall Law School, and I was a candidate for the bar.

Then I took a public professional hit. If you Google me, you'll find it. I'm not going to pretend otherwise, because that experience is the reason this company exists. I know what it feels like when page one tells a version of your story you don't recognize, and I learned firsthand how to separate the signal from the noise, what can be resolved and what can't.

So when I build for a business, I look at the whole picture. Solid architecture. SEO. The AI crawlers that now answer questions about you before a human ever searches. And reputation, because it doesn't matter how well your site ranks if a resolvable negative review or an old report intercepts the client before they ever reach it. Most agencies overlook that entirely. I can't. I lived it."

Why the legal background matters

Reputation problems aren't only marketing problems. When a review or a post stops being fair comment and starts being defamatory, you should know plainly, without paying for an opinion just to find out. We tell you where things sit, and when a matter needs a lawyer, we say so.

Who's behind it

Reputation Radar is operated by Alfano Technologies Inc., a Hamilton, Ontario company building practical tools for owners and professionals. We're local, we're reachable, and we'd rather earn next month than lock you into a year.
